All things cute!

I cannot believe I did not take a picture of the folk craft store we finally found but we found it, it was very expensive and we bought a table runner... Then we were hungry. We have this problem that you walk by a million delicious looking places on your way but when it is time to eat you don't always find something that looks good. For lunch we ended up going to Mos Burger. I ordered from this part of the menu that looked possibly vegetarian but turned out to be gluten free. My burger was mostly veggies but had little chunks of fish in it but the bun was made out of rice:
I am working hard to be a good sport and just eat it no complaints. I even lift pieces of bacon off my eggs and hand to Tim and tuck in. I eat ramen with bonito broth (fish - but delish) and sometimes unnamed broth (often chicken which gives me the willies because it is so greasy but what can I do?) After that I told Tim I'm eating when I see something yummy, not when I'm hungry! And ordered this green curry and vegetable pie from a very hip looking cafe called The Deck. And you know what? I just dug out that piece of chicken and the shrimp and kept on eating - it was light and scrumptious.
Tim's is apple with coffee, Otto declined. I finally had to draw the line when my spicy rice and salad - sounds yummy right? - that I asked the non English speaking waitress "no meat?" and she walked away and asked and came back "no meat!" arrived with little chunks of ground beef throughout. No can do. Graciously returned for ceasar salad and she made a point of crossing it off my bill in front of me. Day was pretty non-eventful, lots of walking around, checking out shops in hip neighborhood then in teen neighborhood:
I love this $250 dollar light fixture so much I want to go back and buy it for YeoWon's room but I won't. It is one of 10 examples of something beautiful that I would purchase if it were in Korea but not from Japan. We have to do more shopping in Korea...
Oh no! I had just eaten my curry pie when we came across this popcorn shop that the Plathes adore from Chicago:
And here are just some fun signs along the way:
We decided to go home and rest so we could go out at night. I wanted a beer to take with me to my room so we stopped at the local store where Otto found some yummy snacks:
So many pictures I am going to finish our day in one more post.

I love the photo of Otto and his snacks. Chicken broth? You are a more courageous person than me. Blech.

Is a "toilet diagnosis expert" a plumber or a proctologist?!?

That light fixture is adorable - so glad you are having such an incredible adventure!
